Who we are and how to contact us

Fight 4 Christmas operates fight4christmas.com. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, or complaints, email fight4christmas@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when ordering, contacting us, submitting a review or subscribing, such as your name, email address, delivery and billing details, telephone number if provided, order information and correspondence. Our store and service providers also collect technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, pages visited, interactions and cookie identifiers.

Payments are processed through the payment services offered at checkout. We receive payment status and transaction information; sensitive payment credentials are handled by the relevant payment provider. Please do not email full card numbers, passwords or verification codes to us.

Why information is used

Information is used to accept payment, fulfil and track orders, provide support, handle refunds and disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, operate and improve the store, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. If you subscribe or otherwise agree to receive marketing, we can use your contact details for that purpose. You can unsubscribe through an email’s unsubscribe link or contact us; essential order messages can still be sent.

Who information is shared with

We use Shopify to host and operate the store, payment providers to process transactions, and fulfilment and delivery partners to supply orders. DSers and the relevant overseas supplier, including suppliers using AliExpress where applicable, receive the order and delivery information needed to fulfil your purchase. Carriers, customer-support services, and other service providers receive information as needed for their role. We may also disclose information where required by law, to resolve a dispute, or to protect legal rights.

Shopify may use information for its own purposes under its Consumer Privacy Policy. That policy explains Shopify’s practices and available privacy choices. A payment provider or external site may have a separate privacy policy.

Overseas processing

Our store serves Australian customers, but providers and suppliers can operate overseas. Personal information can be processed or stored outside Australia, including in China for supplier fulfilment and in countries where Shopify, payment services and their providers operate. Locations depend on the services and supplier used for an order. Contact us if you need more detail about a particular disclosure.

Cookies and privacy choices

Cookies and similar tools support cart contents, checkout, security, preferences and store operation. Where analytics or advertising tools are enabled, they can also measure activity or support marketing, subject to applicable consent requirements and available choices. Use any cookie/privacy controls displayed on the store, and your browser settings, to manage preferences. Blocking essential cookies can affect shopping or checkout.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including order support, disputes and applicable legal recordkeeping, and then delete or de-identify it when appropriate. We use reasonable safeguards and rely on service-provider protections, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests and complaints

You can ask what information we hold about you, request correction, ask about deletion or marketing preferences, and raise a privacy concern. Applicable law may provide additional rights. We may need proportionate identity verification and may retain information where legally required. We will explain if we cannot fulfil a request.

We will review privacy complaints and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the relevant privacy regulator, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction.

Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our operations or applicable requirements. The date above identifies the latest version.
